Rules
satsbid.lol is a public leaderboard. No ads, no API keys, no revenue sharing. You pay to stay in front. The position is the bid. Nothing else counts.
How the position works
- Bids are in sats, paid over the Lightning Network. The minimum bid is 2,100 sats and the cap per bid is 100,000,000 sats.
- To pass someone you pay their total plus 1,000 sats. Paying less than #1 still puts you on the board, at whatever place that amount reaches.
- Equal amounts stay in the order they were reached. Whoever got to that amount first stays in front.
- Paste the same link again to raise your own listing. The new total has to be at least 1,000 sats above what it's already worth, and you only pay the difference. Someone else does not take your spot by paying that difference — for them the full amount counts.
- App Store, Play Store and GitHub links are identified by the app, not by the domain, so two different apps don't share the same bid.
What can go in
- A product site or an @handle on X.
- Chat and invite links don't go in: WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Signal, Messenger and the like. This board is for products and profiles, not groups.
- Adult content doesn't go in.
- URL parameters are stripped from the link — affiliate, referral and tracking links don't work here. The exception is the parameter that identifies the item itself, like the Play Store id.
- Known shorteners are resolved to their final destination before going in.
After you pay
- Your listing is public. The click goes through a redirect that counts the visit and sends people to your link with ?utm_source=satsbid.lol.
- The invoice is valid for 15 minutes. A paid invoice is what secures the position — before that nothing is reserved, and an expired invoice never becomes a bid.
- Payments are made in Bitcoin over Lightning and are not refundable, even if you get outbid a minute later.
- If you leave an email, you get a message when someone takes your position — at most one per hour.
- I can remove any listing that breaks these rules.
